Absolute produced new websites and marketing materials for Giggleswick School, an institution with a 500 year history of excellence.
Giggleswick wanted to convey their rich heritage and deep traditions, but also showcase their modern facilities, exemplary academic record and stunning setting in the hills of Yorkshire. Absolute achieved this by overhauling their dated websites and providing a complete refresh of their existing brand.
The new websites were redesigned from the ground up to identify what information a particular user would like to see, and guide them towards relevant content as easily as possible. Specific content for prospective parents, existing parents and alumni are segmented and easily reached, with all the latest sports results and school news never more than a single click away. Interactive calendars with detailed functions ensure that school events are clearly highlighted and can be seen at a glance.
To bring the websites to life, we undertook several on-site photoshoots and produced a series of videos, which convey the personality of the school and highlight the excellent facilities on offer to its students.
Absolute we also on-hand to re-work the school’s existing brand materials. Over the years the schools branding had evolved to become disjointed, and there was no longer a clear message or image. We created a brand guidelines document, and a set of usage rules to ensure that the brand could be flexibly used and evolved in the future, whilst remaining consistent across multiple media. Our team then stripped everything back and re-applied the brand consistently across the entire school, from signage and stationery right through to prospectuses, banners, and vehicle graphics.
