We recently completed a brand overhaul for Halbro Sportswear, a 90 year old business that has a famous history in manufacturing bespoke sports kits for schools and rugby clubs worldwide. In this post, we will highlight some of the processes involved in creating a new, refreshed logo for the company - an important element in the re-branding process.

Absolute is a small, but perfectly formed creative design and digital agency with huge ideas, based in a lovely converted chapel in Bolton. Our services include web design and development, online marketing, design for print and video production. We even have an office in Brisbane, Australia!

We are looking to expand our team of developers for a brilliant, enthusiastic and talented web developer, working on some fantastic upcoming digital projects from our Bolton studio.

Key Skills Required:

Object Oriented PHP/MySQL

Semantic HTML/CSS

ASP.NET/MS-SQL experience an advantage

JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery

Familiarity with open source systems like Joomla, Drupal, WordPress etc

E-Commerce, Magento experience an advantage

Knowledge of SEO considerations an advantage

Knowledge of J2EE experience an advantage

If successful, you will work on different technologies and projects at the same time and be expected to have a strong eye for detail, as well as being driven to produce innovative and technically brilliant digital products for a number of brands.

You will also be expected to stay up to speed with the latest developments in the industry and bring fresh ideas and thinking to the table.

As this is a client facing role, you will be expected to communicate your ideas effectively, and be able to work on your own initiative as well as working alongside our existing team.
